FEMALE GAZE
In this graphic series, Yaya explores the objectification of women and the female and male gaze using edited images from vintage pornographic magazines from the 1970s. These magazines are sold on the quais outside her studio on Ile Saint Louis in Paris. She is objectifying women the way that she knows she herself has been objectified. This is an ongoing series.
